With this latest expansion that they plan to make in their new center, they hope to generate more than 3,000 direct jobs and to have nearly 1,000 hospital beds.

Lenus Capital Partners (LCP) acquired 100% of the shares of the Medicadiz Clinic in Ibagué. The purchase is part of the company's strategy that seeks to improve medical care in the country's intermediate cities. The value of the transaction is still unknown.

The financing of the acquisition was led by Gramercy Funds Management LLC with the participation of Compass Group LLC, a company that, through its managed funds, has supported the expansion of Lenus since 2021.

“This acquisition is a fundamental part of our expansion plan, since it allows us to significantly strengthen our healthcare network throughout the country. We will continue working to provide the best medical care in all our services to the population in the territories where we have a presence,” said Klaus Lederer, president of Lenus Capital Partners.

The Lenus Group plans to increase the number of hospital beds to more than 350 to generate greater coverage in the department of Tolima.
